Continuous Learning

This is a re-processed version of one of my previous images that I had made couple of years ago. Since then I have improved my processing know-how which is evident in this image when you compare this with the old one.

More recently, I have picked up few new techniques...so know I am debating about processing this image one more time. This dilemma is a result of continuous learning which I guess is a good thing...

The "Fire Wave"

Finally, I made it to the elusive "Fire Wave" in Valley of Fire State Park. I wanted to visit this place since I saw a picture by Isabel Synnatschke and I read about this in her resourceful eGuide on Valley of Fire. Well, it is not as elusive as it used to be few years ago. But you still don't find many people out there.

I was there about half-an-hour before sunset and was accompanied by a friend of mine- Satyam. He was nice enough to model for me which helped me recreate a classic shot by Isabel Synnatschke. I was blessed with a nice sunset and was able to make some decent shots with different perspectives.
